Projector Maintenance

One of the most important things to consider when purchasing a projector is the maintenance and care of the unit, once we install a projector we will show how to clean and maintain the units and give general advise on how to make sure you get the most out of your investment

General Maintenance

Cleaning Filters:

Older model projectors require cleaning once a month minimum new units how ever have 4000 hour filters .

Turning Off the Projector:

Always Ensure to power down projector correctly, if you just switch off the projector from the wall socket this can blow the blow and void the warranty

Summer Break and school works:

We strongly recommend placing a black bin bag around the unit during the summer holidays and while there is building or painting work going on in the school, this prevents a build up of dust on top of the projector, We usually receive a good few calls in September with projectors not starting which is caused by the build up of dust on top of the projector and once it is switched on it sucks in the dust causing it to over heat or getting clogged and not starting
